Hi! We are the Sassy Farm Chicks - Rhonda, Tina, Angie,
and our not so silent partner Shirley.
The Sassy Farm Chicks Quilt Company is a longarm quilting service in downtown Orfordville, Wisconsin. We are 4 farm gals that love to quilt, craft, teach classes, and make your quilt tops shine!
After quilting for many years, we bought a Gammill quilting machine and began quilting for others. In September 2017 we moved the machine to town and became part of the happening downtown in Orford.
We offer all-over and custom quilting on your quilt tops, and would love to talk with you about the way you want your finished quilt to look. If you're stuck on a project, bring it in! We'll help you get going and get your project finished!
If you are not a quilter, but have an idea for a quilt, we can make it for you. We also make keepsake memory quilts from the clothing of family members or friends that you miss. Contact us or stop in and see us so that we can visit about your idea.
There is a great classroom in our upstairs, and we offer lots of opportunities to learn something new. In addition to classes, we have quilt clubs that meet monthly. We can teach you individually if groups aren't your thing. Our classroom space is available for you to use at any time during shop hours when there is no class scheduled.

We love the look of this quilt, and we've found a super easy way to do it! We will provide the panel, - it will be a deer or snowman scene - and we'll all make a great quilt for the winter season
or for Christmas giving.
Materials: 1/2 yard light tan window fabric (or white - it makes the window panes look like snow, if you'd like a winter look), 3/4 yard brown window fabric, 3/4 yard black fabric, and 3/4 yard outer border fabric.
Class Fee: $45.00
A Strip Club at the Quilt Shop? Yes!
All of the quilts will be made with 2 1/2" strips!
This is a monthly club, getting together on the 2nd Wednesday of each month September thru August 2019. You can begin at any time throught the year. A perfect club for using all those jelly rolls you've bought, or using up your stash!
The Keyhole Quilt shown on the left will be the first one we'll make.
Materials: 1 jelly roll or 40 - 2 1/2" strips 44" long, 2 1/4 yards for borders, 3/4 yard for binding, and 4 1/2 yards for backing. 65" x 73" finished size.
So, become a member of our Strip Club! While we do have a pole, we have to keep all of our clothes on. We don't have a permit for naked quilting...
